A soft phone is a program that runs on your computer or mobile phone which allows you to make and receive voice calls just as if you were using a office phone. Here are some instructions on setting up a soft phone with our server.
Mobile Devices
Most android devices have the ability to add internet accounts, however, Ryan has found it doesn't work great. There is also an app Zoiper, which works pretty good.

Making and Receiving Calls

In short click on the dial pad icon, or type a name in the search box. Before the call is made you will need to select what "line" you will use to dial out, if you have multiple lines. Make sure you are calling with the right caller id so you don't confuse customers!
Signing On and Off
It's important to sign off and on when you are working or not working. This way you won't get calls when you are not working, or chat messages. To sign off click on the "Online" (green) pull down and select global status of "Offline." Make sure to sign back to "Online" next time you want to receive or make phone calls. If you are an hourly employee its required you are "Online" whenever you are on the clock, so you can receive chats and phone calls.
